Community Programs

Being a good neighbor is part of our mission at American Water. We are dedicated to Pennsylvania and do make sure we show it.

Each year, we assist low-income customers through our H20 Help to Others Program®. Customers who qualify may receive grants of up to $500, a discount on their service fee and water-saving devices and education on how to use water wisely.

American Water also takes an active part in the communities. We support environmental and educational initiatives related to water, from watershed clean-up efforts to educational programs focused on drinking water and source water protection.

Another example of how we give back to the community is our innovative, environmental grant program, which provides funding for community-based projects that improve, protect and restore drinking water supplies and surrounding watersheds.
